Mike Taylor of Culloden has worked as a Greyhound trainer in Crosslanes for 15 years. He loves the dogs as does his wife and 5 year old son Evan. They have 2 retired racers at home that they love.. along with the ones in the kennel Mike works with every day. If this bill passes life as they know it will be changed...that job and those dogs mean the world to them.
My parents purchased a farm in Marshall County. They have invested so much and provide the upmost care for the dogs they love will be unemployed. They are hard working 70 hour a week people.. That are stand up citizens in the community. Contribute to local businesses.. Donate to varies local youth charities.. Pay taxes and keep up their end of the promise by investing a huge overhead back into their business to compete in this state.
My family is just one of many that will be affected.
Being employed at the racetrack, I will lose my job too. I have been doing this for 6 years and I love what I do and the people I work with. We are all such good, hard working people. We are not only a community, but we have become a family. Me and many others will be financially unstable. We have all worked so hard for our houses, our cars, our food that we put on our table. Not knowing where my job lies in the near future, is absolutely terrifying. Please give us all peace
